Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arranging and is practised under formal rules. Having for many years used glazes with origins in Japan, a chance encounter with Jerry Wilde led to my making this range of ikebana vases. Jerry teaches ikebana in Wiltshire and you can see examples of his work at Jerry Wilde – Ikebana courses.

The pair of tall vases was a commission from Miyuki Griffin.

All the vases are made using stoneware clay and are fired to 1280C. They are available in a range of colours and are usually made to order. In the captions the prices exclude delivery. The sizes are in mm, W (width), H (height), ID (internal depth).
