Disha Sehmi - raku

A white firing molochite grogged clay body e.g. Ashraf Hanna is thrown and burnished at the leather hard stage. The pots are then biscuit fired at 1000oC. A pattern is then applied using masking tape and the pots are then dipped into a resist slip for 3-4 seconds. A resist glaze is then applied 24 hours later. The pots are then ready to raku.
